SEO Auditing Services was founded in 2012 in Washington, D.C., by a small team of in-house SEO directors who were sick of receiving cookie-cutter "audits" from large agencies. The reports they got back were either auto-generated by a tool with no human interpretation, or 200-page documents written for SEO experts — not for the engineers, founders, or marketers who actually had to implement the fixes.
Our founders — a former enterprise SEO director and a senior Google Ads strategist — set out to build something different: a senior-led, human-driven audit shop that treats every site like a real business and produces reports a junior developer can actually act on.

Every audit we ship has the same DNA, regardless of whether you bought the Starter or the Enterprise tier. We follow a four-stage workflow: intake, deep analysis, manual review, and roadmap synthesis. The Enterprise tier doesn\'t skip steps faster; it includes more depth (more competitor analysis, more URLs crawled, more interpretive analysis) at every stage.
We use the same tooling stack on every engagement — Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and our internal proprietary checklists. We pay for the top tier of every commercial tool because tool limits should never compromise the quality of your audit.
Most importantly, every audit goes through a senior auditor\'s manual review before delivery. We don\'t ship tool-generated PDFs with our logo on them. The deliverable reflects a human expert\'s judgment about what matters most for your specific site, in your specific industry, at your specific scale.
Once you receive your audit, the engagement isn\'t over. You get a 30-minute strategy call (60 minutes on Enterprise) walking through critical findings with the senior auditor who wrote your report. You can email follow-up questions during your 30-day implementation window at no additional cost. And we offer a 50%-off delta re-audit at 6 months to verify what\'s fixed and surface anything new.
For clients who need more hands-on help, our consultants are available at $99/hour for implementation work — debugging tricky technical fixes, advising on schema implementations, or shipping the content rewrites we recommended. There\'s no minimum commitment; you pay only for time you actually use.
Our agency clients also use us as a white-label audit partner. We deliver every report with your branding so you can resell audits to your own clients without ever revealing our name. Over 40 agencies currently white-label our work.
